We also want to recognize a surprise
guest appearance by Father Dan Hurley, former
faculty member of St Pius. Father Hurley concelebrated
the Mass with our St Pius alumni and then joined us at the
reception.
While we received regrets and regards
from alumni who could not attend, we also heard from Father
John Martin, now at Notre Dame parish in New Hyde Park,
and from Dr. Tony Scordato who sent their best
wishes and prayers for a successful evening.
Special thanks to Tricia
Ryan Lige, Sacred Heart Academy Class of 1990, for
all the work in updating and maintaining this website.
Without it we would not have been able to communicate with so many
in the short time and organize the event.
Lastly, thanks to all who plan to
send in photos, especially Mary Beth Ford Barrett
and Carolyn DeMaria who provided the early photos
